Soul Space St Kenneth’s Kennoway

Thursday 7th December, next Soul Space at St Kenneth’s Parish Church in Kennoway when we will be reflecting on the theme of Advent. The Church will be open for folks to drop in for prayerful reflection anytime from 1-3pm and 6.30-8.30pm. There will also be a short led reflection at 2pm and 7.30pm for anyone wishing to join with others in worship. All are welcome to drop in whenever they can to take time to refresh, reflect, renew and relax in God’s presence. Tea, coffee and refreshments will also be available in the Church office throughout the day.

National Day of Prayer Events

National Day of Prayer Events shall be held at Glenrothes St Margaret’s and Kirkcaldy St Bryce Kirk on Saturday 25th November 2017 10:00am to 12:00 noon.

Leven Parish Armistice Concert

Buckhaven & Methil Miners Brass Band are putting on a concert in aid of Church funds to be held on Friday 10th November at 7:30pm in the church hall,  “The Gathering Place”. The concert will have an Armistice theme with a selection of popular music from the time of the two World wars. Light refreshments will be served during the concert with the audience being seated “cabaret style”. Tickets, priced £5, available from Leven Parish office 01333 423969 or you can pay at the door on the night.

Moderators for 2017-2018

Outgoing moderator Reverend Andrew Donald welcoming George and Beryl Luke who have been appointed joint moderators of the presbytery from September 2017.  Beryl and George both have extensive experience of presbytery over a good number of years. They each bring individual skills, talents and experience and they also work very well together.Not even they know who the joint moderator model will work in practice, but we look forward to finding out.

Churches, schools, groups and individuals are encouraged to fill a shoebox for Blythswood Care. Further details here.  The annual Shoebox Service will be held on Thursday 2nd November at 2 p.m. in Templehall Church.   The church will be open from 10.30 a.m. for the collection of boxes.
