Fife Pilgrim Way

At its March meeting Presbytery was addressed by Nick Cooke of the Fife Pilgrim Way Community Engagement Project. 500 years ago St Andrews was one of the key pilgrimage sites in Europe alongside Rome and Santiago de Compostela. Nick talked about the resurgence of interest in pilgrimage and the opportunity pilgrimage presents to reposition faith in people’s lives. The Fife Pilgrim Way is an exciting new long distance walk under development, following in the footsteps of medieval pilgrims through the heart of Fife. The input and involvement of local communities is of key importance and to that end a series of drop in events have been planned.
