St Ninian’s Church, Glenrothes

St Ninian’s Parish Church, Glenrothes – The church in the community Our vision is to be a vibrant and caring church, open to all, showing our Christian faith at work in our community.  We specifically serve the Caskieberran, Tanshall, Newcastle and Macedonia communities of Glenrothes, although we welcome everyone. The worshipping congregation meets on a Sunday morning at 10.30am where we are lead by organ, choir and praise band.  Everyone is very welcome to join us at any of our services.  Our usual pattern of worship includes more informal All Age Worship on the 1st Sunday of the month and Holy Communion on the last Sunday.  Crèche, Junior Church and Youth Fellowship meet during the services for younger members of the church family. But there’s far more going on at St Ninian’s throughout the week.  We run: book and Fairtrade stalls; Carpet Bowls; Guild; Oasis Café; Messy Church; Open House; Prayer Hour; Kreative Kids and Illumin8.  We support: Rainbows, Brownies and Guides; an Age Concern Day Centre; and a Parent Carer and Toddler Group.  The halls are also used by lots of other groups throughout the week. Located in the Glenwood Centre is St Ninian’s Charity Shop and Community Café.  The project offers a focus for the community, providing low cost goods and meals.  Profits from the shop and café are put back into the local community through grants. There’s lots going on so please get in touch to find out more.
