Torbain Church, Kirkcaldy

Torbain Parish Church, built in 1968, is situated in Lindores Drive, West Kirkcaldy, and serves a continually growing parish currently housing approximately 9,000 people.

Sunday Worship is held at 11am and we are fortunate to have a thriving Junior Church and Crèche with 20+ children from babies to teenagers on the roll.

In addition , the church halls are in use daily, hosting Youth Organisations, several dance groups and also accommodating our Guild and Over 60s Group etc. The local Councillors hold regular surgeries within the halls.

The Church Hall is open each Wednesday to serve a light lunch from 12:45pm to 1:45 pm and to give access, if desired, to The Sanctuary for quiet prayer.

The congregation has links to the local Primary School through a chaplaincy and is regularly involved with a locally based homeless charity.

The needs of our elderly and/or sick members are catered for by a very able Pastoral Care Team. Other church ‘Teams’ deal with Worship, Mission, Property and Finance.

Special events throughout the year include a Quiz, Beetle Drives and Youth Discos. Every other year a Burns Supper and Ceilidh are also held. All of these events are open to the local community. An Annual Fayre and children’s parties are held during the Festive Season in December.

Visitors to Torbain Church are assured of a warm welcome, whether at Sunday morning worship, when they can join us for a cup of tea after the service, or at any of our regular or annual events held in the church halls.
