St Margaret’s Church, Glenrothes

St Margaret’s is the oldest church in Glenrothes serving Woodside, Pitteuchar and the eastern part of Auchmuty.

In our church we appreciate that different people like to worship in different ways and so we offer people choice on Sundays:

9:30am  -  a shorter all-age service in the informal setting of the New Halls using modern worship songs and interaction
10:00am  -  a service in the Community Hall in Altyre Court, Pitteuchar
11:00am  -  a more traditional service in the church

Some services have a focus on Christian healing.

We still see ourselves as one church so we come together on the first Sunday of each month in the church at 10:00am and during some holiday periods. We don’t have a Sunday School any more but do have a thriving children’s club on Monday evenings and a Youth Group. As well, there are study groups, Alpha courses, prayer groups, a Growing Leaders course, the Guild, the work group, the banner group, the choir, the Praise Band, Toddlers, etc.

Our halls are also used by Age Concern Glenrothes, two Zumba classes, Brownies and various training courses.

We don’t forget the wider community and world with our support for Gilven House, the YM/YWCA, a church in Sri Lanka, Tear Fund, Christian Aid and the Barnabas Fund.

Much more information can be found on our website.
