The Presbytery of Kirkcaldy is the gathered life of the Church of Scotland in central Fife.
Four hundred years ago James VI described Fife as a ‘beggar’s mantle, fringed with gold,’ and our presbytery takes in part of that ‘fringe’, from Burntisland in the south to Leven in the east.
At the heart of this area of natural beauty, history and industry is Kirkcaldy, Fife’s largest town, famous for being the birthplace of Adam Smith.
Presbytery meets in Kirkcaldy: St Bryce Kirk, at 7 pm on Tuesdays on the dates listed on this website.
The Presbytery Clerk is Rev Rosemary Frew email@example.com
Next Presbytery Meeting
Presbytery meets next on Thursday 5 June 2014 at 6.45pm for the Service of Union for Markinch and Thornton in Thornton Church and thereafter on Tuesday 24 April 2014 at 7.15pm in the St Bryce Kirk Centre, Kirkcaldy. This will follow the Presbytery meal at 6.00pm.
